ARENAL SUITES PRECIADOS, Madrid

The property sits in the very heart of Madrid, within a 5-10 minute walk to Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace, and Mercado San Miguel. Two metro stations (Callao and Sol) are less than a 2-minute walk away, and multiple bus lines run along Gran Vía. All major tourist attractions, shopping streets, and the Universidad area's bars and restaurants are easily reachable on foot. Despite the lively central location, the apartments are well soundproofed and quiet at night.

Units are spacious, spotlessly clean, and recently renovated with contemporary decor. Each apartment includes a comfortable double bed, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, heating, and soundproofed walls. The kitchen is well fitted with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, and coffee machine with complimentary pods. A washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and free toiletries are provided. Rooms facing the street have excellent soundproofing, but those overlooking the inner courtyard are even quieter. Bed comfort and pillow quality are consistently noted as providing an excellent night's sleep. The apartments are suitable for couples or solo travellers; some studio layouts are compact but well utilised.

The kitchenette is fully equipped for self-catering, with a stovetop, oven, microwave, and refrigerator. Free coffee capsules and tea are provided, and grocery delivery can be arranged for an additional charge. For eating out, there are numerous restaurants, cafés, and tapas bars within a short walk on Calle de Preciados and neighbouring streets, including Spanish and international options. The staff can recommend traditional, non-touristy places and provide a hand-drawn map of favourites.

With Gran Vía, Puerta del Sol, the Royal Palace, and Plaza Mayor all within easy walking distance, guests can explore Madrid's museums, shops, theatres, and historic sites on foot. Paid walking tours, bike tours, and cultural classes (cooking, art) can be arranged nearby or off-site. The surrounding neighbourhood is lively with entertainment options, yet the apartments themselves remain quiet and restful.

The property offers free high-speed Wi-Fi in all rooms, a lift, and individual key access with a safety deposit box. The paid airport shuttle covers up to 3 people for €45 (one-way) and must be booked in advance. Luggage storage is available free of charge from 11:00 to 20:00, allowing guests to explore before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping and babysitting services can be arranged for an additional charge. The reception staff (one English- and Spanish-speaking team, one also speaking French and Italian) provide a personal check-in with a detailed apartment tour, local maps, and dining recommendations. Early check-in or late luggage collection is often accommodated on request.
