Hotel Details

Location

Located 23 km from Tokyo Haneda Airport, in a quiet residential area of Asakusa, within walking distance of Senso-ji Temple and several local attractions.
The hostel is about a 9-minute walk from Asakusa (TX) Station and 10-15 minutes from Asakusa Subway Station or Iriya Station. This means direct access to Ueno, Akihabara, and Narita Airport. The surrounding residential streets are quiet at night, with a 7-Eleven across the street, a large supermarket, and many small izakayas and restaurants nearby. A local community bus (100 yen) stops right opposite the building and saves time getting around Asakusa. The location suits travellers who want a calm base and don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to the main train stations.

Accommodation

Air-conditioned capsule-style dorms on separate male, female, and mixed floors; each capsule has a light, privacy curtain, and shelves for belongings.
Rooms are compact and designed for sleeping, not for lounging. Each capsule includes a reading light, power outlet, and two shelves for storage. The mattresses are futon-style and very thin - some find them firm and hard, others acceptable for a short stay. Light sleepers should note that hallway lighting stays on all night; bringing an eye mask is advised. Rooms are cleaned daily, and each dorm has a designated area for luggage storage. The female-only floor is quieter and offers better privacy. Separate bathroom facilities for each floor ensure enough showers and toilets even when the dorm is full.

Dining

A café on the first floor serves a 500 yen breakfast set (bread, miso soup, coffee, boiled egg, sausage) and offers free water.
The on-site café also sells light meals and drinks during its opening hours (from 10:00). A microwave and hot water dispenser are available in the common area for preparing your own food. The surrounding area has numerous inexpensive eateries, including ramen shops, izakayas, and bakeries (Toritatsu, Ramenkonto, Sekine Bakery - all within a 5-minute walk). A 7-Eleven convenience store is directly opposite, and a large supermarket is around the corner.

Amenities

Free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, elevator, coin laundry, luggage storage, and a café and lounge on the ground floor.
The hostel provides luggage storage before check-in and after check-out (free until 18:00, then 500 yen per item). A hairdryer and hair straightener are available free of charge. Towels and laundry powder must be purchased or rented. The shared lounge on the second floor has tatami flooring and a relaxing atmosphere with manga comics. The first-floor café area serves as the main common space, suitable for working or socialising. The ground-floor space also has drink vending machines and a microwave. A safe is available at the front desk for valuables. The property has an elevator for easy access.

Top Strategic Tips

  • 01

Use the free luggage storage before check-in (from 15:00) or after check-out until 18:00 at no charge; after 18:00 a fee of 500 yen per item applies.

  • 02

Request a room away from the road if you are a light sleeper - noise from other guests and bright hallway lights can be an issue.

  • 03

Plan to use the luggage storage room for your suitcase, as capsule storage space is limited and opening a large case in the dorm is difficult.
