The apartments sit in a lively, LGBTQ-friendly neighbourhood in St. Georg, steps from the main train station and within walking distance of Mönckebergstrasse shopping street, Jungfernstieg, the port (15 minutes on foot) and many restaurants. The street itself is relatively quiet given the central location, though emergency sirens can be audible. The location is ideal for those arriving by train or wanting to explore the city on foot, and public transport connections cover the rest of the city and airport easily. The area around the station is busy but the building itself is set back enough to feel safe.

Units range from studio apartments to two-bedroom options with balconies or terraces. Each has a private entrance, a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, fridge, dishwasher, microwave in some), a dining area and a flat-screen TV with streaming services. Beds are generally comfortable and some apartments are very spacious, with a well-thought-out design. Some units require passing through one bedroom to reach the bathroom. In some apartments the bathroom is not fully enclosed (open above the partition). The air conditioning has been reported as non-functional in some units, making summer stays very warm; opening windows then brings street noise. Single-room apartments can feel very small, with limited luggage and storage space.

A welcome bottle of wine and still/sparkling water are provided, along with tea and coffee. Each apartment has a kitchen with hob, fridge and basic cookware, offering the option to prepare simple meals. Numerous restaurants, bars and cafés are within a 2-minute walk, including Lagano Bistro & Cafe, Dim Sum Haus, Bich Ngoc Sushi-Asia-Food and MUTTERLAND Stammhaus, giving plenty of choice for eating out without needing transport.

The neighbourhood offers easy access to the Alster lakefront for walks or jogging. An ice-skating rink and boating activities are in the vicinity, providing seasonal leisure options. The port and its waterfront promenades are about a 15-minute walk.

Free WiFi is available throughout. A lift serves all floors. Luggage storage is available in a common basement room (not lockable) both before check-in and after check-out - useful for guests arriving or departing outside reception hours. A washing machine and dryer are available in the basement, free of charge. The building has CCTV, smoke alarms and fire extinguishers. Non-feather bedding can be requested. Pets are allowed (15 € per day). Contactless self check-in using a door code works around the clock, but a stable internet connection is required to open the doors.
