ART&FLATS HOSTEL, Valencia

Art&Flats is located in the historic core of Valencia, less than 1km from the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados and the Central Market. The Xàtiva metro stop (lines 3 and 5) is a 6-minute walk, offering a direct 20-minute connection to Valencia Airport for either 20-25€ by taxi or cheaper by metro. Restaurants are within a 0.3km radius, including Okay Lah Valencia and La Waffleria. The property is on a main street with easy walking access to the old town and tourist attractions - the location scores 9.2.

Accommodation ranges from single and double rooms to quadruple rooms and dormitories, each with a kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster), a washing machine, and a seating area with a flat-screen TV. The private triple room includes a private bathroom; all other room types share bathrooms located across the common areas. Beds in dormitories are single (not bunks), each with a locker and bedside light. The double room offers an inner courtyard view, while some triple rooms provide a quiet street view. Soundproofing is limited: noise from the street, hallways, and other guests is audible, especially in rooms without windows. Light sleepers are advised to bring earplugs. The decor is modern and artistic, but some rooms lack natural daylight entirely.

The adults-only hostel does not serve breakfast or operate its own restaurant or bar. However, the shared kitchen is large and stocked with everything needed for self-catering - stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, cutlery and cookware. There is a communal dining table inside and a terrace with outdoor seating. Within a 0.3km walk you will find a wide variety of independent restaurants and cafés, such as Divino Ristorante Italiano, Eggcellent Brunch Cafe, and Restaurante BOM.

WiFi is free throughout the property. Luggage storage is available free of charge from 11:30 until check-in and after checkout, making it convenient for early arrivals or late departures. A tour desk, shared lounge/TV area, and laundry (additional charge) are provided. The building has air conditioning, heating, and soundproof rooms. No parking is available. Reception is not staffed 24 hours - late check-in must be arranged in advance and incurs a 20€ or 30€ surcharge.
