HOTEL AUGUSTIN - ASTOTEL, Paris

The hotel sits in the 8th arrondissement, a safe and elegant residential area with easy pedestrian access to the Opéra Garnier, the Champs-Élysées, and the Louvre. Saint-Lazare station (trains and metro) and Saint-Augustin metro provide direct connections to the theatre district, Orly airport (via line 14), and other key sights. Within a 5-minute walk you'll find dozens of restaurants, bakeries, and shops, including Monoprix. The area is quiet at night yet lively during the day, making it well-suited for both leisure and business travellers.

Room types include single, double, twin, triple, quadruple, and a two-bedroom family suite. The family suite offers two bathrooms and a wrap-around balcony - ideal for families. Many rooms have a small balcony; attic rooms on the sixth floor are compact and some face a wall, so travellers preferring more space and natural light should choose a higher-category room. Soundproofing is generally effective, but rooms facing the street may experience some traffic noise. Beds are comfortable (140 cm in some double rooms), and daily housekeeping keeps everything spotless. Tea/coffee-making facilities are provided, and the minibar is restocked daily with soft drinks.

Breakfast (12-14 EUR per person) includes scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, mushrooms, cheeses, fruits, fresh bread, and croissants, plus gluten-free options on request. The breakfast room is chic and welcoming. In the afternoon and evening, the lobby offers a complimentary spread of snacks, pastries, and hot/cold drinks - a popular feature that also extends to 13+ other Astotel hotels in Paris. There is no full restaurant or bar on site, but the lively neighbourhood is packed with excellent dining within a 2-minute walk, from bakeries to bistros.

A compact fitness room and a sauna are available at no extra charge, offering a convenient way to unwind after a day of sightseeing or business. The facilities are well-maintained and rarely crowded. For outdoor leisure, the Parc Monceau is a 12-minute walk away, and the Champs-Élysées is within a 20-minute stroll.
