Don Mueang International Airport is 27 km away; the connection via Airport Rail Link to Makkasan, then MRT to Sam Yot, takes around an hour. The open bus stops nearby also offer an alternative way to reach other parts of the city.

Rooms are kept at a comfortable temperature with individually controlled air conditioning. Dorm beds feature thick, supportive mattresses, privacy curtains, and personal reading lights. Each bed has a large locker underneath for storing luggage, and towels are provided. The shared bathrooms are separated by gender and include showers with good water pressure and bidets. The bathrooms are cleaned multiple times a day, maintaining high cleanliness standards. The double room also has a work desk. The room isolation is good, keeping noise from common areas to a minimum. The hostel is modern and well-maintained, with a homey feel throughout. While the rooms are not large, they are efficiently laid out.

The hostel does not serve a daily breakfast, but the shared kitchen has a kettle, microwave, fridge, and basic utensils, allowing you to prepare simple meals. Free filtered drinking water, bananas, and small snacks (like biscuits) are available in the lobby all day. The immediate neighbourhood is rich with dining options: a morning market just a few minutes' walk away sells fresh local food, and at least a dozen cafés, including Cafe Amazon (0.5 km), Old Town Cafe Bangkok (0.5 km), and Feung Nakorn Kitchen (0.5 km), are within a few hundred metres. For those wanting to cook, the shared kitchen offers the flexibility to store and prepare food.

The rooftop terrace on the third floor provides a quiet outdoor space with seating, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or for socialising with other travellers in the evening. The ground-floor common area includes comfortable couches, a small library, and a TV - a compact but functional space for relaxing. The hostel's quiet, local surroundings also make for pleasant walks through the historic neighbourhood. There is no on-site gym, spa, or pool.
