The immediate area around Termini can feel busy and less comfortable late at night; returning after dark requires awareness of the surroundings.

The accommodation consists of shared dormitories with bunk beds. The mattresses are thin and the wooden slats are noisy, making the bed uncomfortable for back sleepers. The rooms have no windows, which prevents air circulation but does not block street noise. The lockers provided cannot always be secured with a key or padlock; travellers should bring their own padlock. Bed linens and pillow covers are not always changed between occupants, and blankets are used without a washable duvet cover. Multiple reports confirm the presence of bedbugs in the beds. The bathrooms are very small, often have poor flushing, low water pressure, and lack shower curtains in one of the showers, causing water to spread across the floor. Black mould is visible on bathroom walls and ceilings.

WiFi is available throughout the property at no extra charge. There is no formal reception desk; access depends on prior communication with the on-site contact person, who may not be immediately available. The on-site staff member is multilingual (English, Spanish, Italian), but the service can be unresponsive and communication via messaging is often slow. No luggage storage is provided after check-out. The building has no lift, and the corridors and stairwells are often dirty. The property requires a €20 cash or ID deposit for the building keys, and the deposit is not always returned. There is no common area beyond the tiny kitchen. The premises are non-smoking throughout.
