BAYMONT BY WYNDHAM FRANKLIN, Franklin

This hotel is situated right at the I-65 exit, providing easy highway access for those traveling through or visiting the area. It is 32 km from Nashville International Airport and about 10 minutes from historic downtown Franklin, which offers a mix of restaurants, shops, boutiques, bookstores, and art galleries. Nearby attractions include Carnton Plantation (within 6 km), Lotz House Museum, and Marcella Vivrette Smith Park. The property is also across from Williamson County Medical Center and within 8 km of Nissan North American Headquarters and Mars Petcare. While the location is car-dependent, free on-site parking is available, and the immediate area has multiple restaurants within walking distance, including Cracker Barrel directly next door. The hotel is positioned far enough from the freeway to stay relatively quiet. For those without a car, the lack of public transit options means planning rides is necessary.

All rooms open to the outside, with two floors accessible only via exterior staircases - no elevator is available. Room types include double-double (the beds are full/double size, not queen), double rooms with two beds, and King Suites, some of which include a jacuzzi tub. Basic amenities in every room include air conditioning, heating, a tea and coffee maker, a microwave, a mini-refrigerator, a flat-screen TV with cable channels (including HBO), a seating area, and a desk. Room views are of the quiet street. The property has some rooms on the first floor that are accessible from ground level; requesting one at booking is advised for mobility considerations. The overall room condition is clean but can be dated, with some reporting worn carpets and older bathrooms. The beds are consistently described as comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite being near the freeway.

The free Baymont Breakfast Corner offers a hot breakfast with rotating items such as scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, and coffee. Breakfast runs from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM. The hot food is generally well-stocked, though on busier days items may run low. There is no on-site restaurant, but the attached Cracker Barrel is just a short walk from the parking lot and serves American cuisine in a casual setting. Several other dining options - including Sonic Drive-In, Dolan's Deli & Bar, Zushimaki, Hardee's, Wendy's, Shoney's, Starbucks, and Roma Pizza & Pasta - are within 2 km. The breakfast area can be small and warm during peak times.

Wi-Fi is free and available throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed, including accessible parking spots. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, a tour desk, and concierge service. A business centre is available for guest use, and fax/photocopying is available for an additional charge. Daily housekeeping is provided free of charge, though some have noted inconsistency in service frequency. The hotel has vending machines for drinks and snacks. Safety features include CCTV, key card and key access, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Family rooms are available, and cots can be provided on request. The property does not accept pets, and there is no laundry service or airport shuttle. The hotel may charge a refundable security deposit for service animals or stays. The upper-floor rooms are stairs-only, so guests with mobility concerns should request a ground-floor room at the time of booking.
