The hotel is a 2-minute stroll from the Atlantic Ocean and less than a 15-minute drive from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Restaurants, bars, cafés and a grocery store are within a 2-5-minute walk, while the shops of Galleria Fort Lauderdale and Bonnet House Museum & Gardens are under 3 km away. Fort Lauderdale city-centre nightlife is a 10-minute drive. For transport to the cruise port (about 20 minutes away) or airport, Uber, Lyft or taxis are the recommended options - the property does not operate a shuttle. A water-taxi stop is located near the Galleria Mall. The immediate area is walkable and well served for dining, making a car optional for most errands.

Accommodation types include double rooms, king studios, one-bedroom suites and family rooms that sleep up to 6. Each room has a private bathroom, air conditioning, flat-screen TV with streaming services, a safe, and a kitchen or kitchenette with stovetop, microwave and refrigerator. Family suites offer separate bedrooms - the king is in a private room - plus a sofa bed and multiple TVs. Most rooms are on the ground floor or upper floors (no elevator), and accessible ADA rooms are available. Noise can be an issue in rooms facing the courtyard or parking lot, especially during spring-break periods. Some units have a balcony - only two one-bedroom king units have this feature, so request it specifically. Closet or wardrobe hanging space is provided in most rooms.

The property features two seasonal outdoor pools, one of which is saltwater. Both are open all year and come with complimentary pool/beach towels, sun loungers and sun umbrellas (on the second pool). The sun terrace and courtyard offer quiet seating areas with chaise lounges, and the courtyard occasionally plays soft music. There is a BBQ/picnic area with outdoor furniture. However, more than a dozen dining options are within a 3-minute walk, including Ilios, S3-Sun Surf Sand, Takato, Atlas, Wine Garden, Le Marche and Steak 954. A grocery store and liquor store are also nearby. The surrounding area offers a food truck with music, a juice bar and a bakery, providing plenty of alternatives for any meal. For those who prefer to stay in, rooms include a kitchen or kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave and refrigerator, making self-catering straightforward. Coffee-making facilities are provided in each room.
