B&B ALLA CORTE DEI MEDICI, Florence

The B&B is in a central yet vibrant area, within easy walking distance of Florence's main attractions such as the Duomo, Palazzo Vecchio, and the Pitti Palace. Santa Maria Novella train station is a short stroll away, providing direct access to the airport tram and regional rail. Numerous restaurants and cafes are within a 300-meter radius, including Ristorante Nirvana and Ristorante Pizzeria Trattoria LA CARABACCIA. The nightlife in the immediate vicinity can be lively, with some noise from street-level activities, particularly in rooms facing the street or on the ground floor. The location is well-suited for exploring the city on foot, though visitors driving should be aware that there is no on-site parking.

The property offers a variety of room types, including suite-style units with a separate living room, kitchen, and private bathroom, as well as double, triple, and single rooms. Some rooms feature private bathrooms with showers and bidets, while others share a bathroom. A notable characteristic is the steep, narrow staircases that lead to upper-floor rooms. Decorative elements vary, with some rooms preserving traditional Florentine features like original wood beams. Lighting in some rooms is dim, and certain bathrooms are compact. The property's age means sound insulation is minimal; internal noise from hallways and adjacent rooms is audible. Some rooms have kitchenettes equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, and utensils. In warmer months, rooms have air conditioning, though its effectiveness in extreme heat has been noted as limited in some cases.

The property focuses on accommodation and does not offer a pool, spa, gym, sauna, or similar wellness amenities. The main leisure option is the proximity to Florence's cultural attractions and the opportunity to explore the historic city center on foot. Some rooms have private terraces or balconies that can be used for relaxation. The surrounding area is lively with restaurants and bars, which contributes to the urban atmosphere but also means the immediate vicinity can be noisy, particularly at night.
