B&B PORTA ROMANA, Milan

Situated in a top-rated area of Milan, this apartment is exceptionally well connected: Porta Romana Metro Station is just a 3-minute walk away, placing the Duomo only 3 metro stops from the door. Major landmarks such as Palazzo Reale (2 km), Museo Del Novecento (2 km), and Duomo Square (4 km) are easily reachable by public transport. Milan Linate Airport is 7 km away, accessible by metro and bus. The immediate neighbourhood is lively and practical, with a wide variety of restaurants, pizzerias, and cafés all within a 5-minute walk - including Pizzeria da Romano, Yuzu, and Cocciuto. The apartment overlooks a quiet inner courtyard, which ensures a peaceful night's sleep despite the central location. No parking is available on site, so the metro and trams are the most convenient options for getting around.

This air-conditioned apartment features one bedroom with a comfortable bed, a private bathroom with shower and bidet, and a fully equipped kitchenette with stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, and kettle. The apartment has parquet floors, a washing machine, ironing facilities, flat-screen TV, and dining table. A welcome selection of chocolates or cookies, along with wine or champagne and free coffee capsules, adds a thoughtful touch. The unit is adults-only and non-smoking throughout, making it ideal for solo travellers or couples seeking a calm, self-contained base. The inner courtyard setting ensures very little noise at night, and the apartment is consistently described as clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Note that there is one bed (likely a double or queen), making it best for one or two adults.

Leisure at this apartment centres on the peaceful inner courtyard setting, which offers a quiet retreat from the city. The location itself is a highlight: a short metro ride connects to Milan's main cultural attractions, shopping districts, and nightlife. There are no on-site wellness facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym, so guests looking for exercise or pampering should plan accordingly - the area does have several parks and fitness studios within walking distance.
