B&B SIENA IN CENTRO - DIFFUSO, Siena

The property is steps from the main landmarks: Piazza del Campo and Siena Cathedral are both a short, level walk away. The location within the restricted traffic zone means car access is limited. Several popular restaurants, including Osteria Permalico and Ristorante Quattro Cantoni, are just 300 metres away. The historic centre is walkable for all sights, and the nearest parking (free or paid) is around 10 minutes on foot. The area is lively but some rooms overlook quiet courtyards or gardens.

Room types include single, twin/double, quadruple rooms, and apartments. All have private bathrooms with shower, bidet, and hairdryer. Some double rooms feature outdoor furniture or a private garden. Apartments have separate living areas and kitchenettes; the two-bedroom apartment has two bathrooms. Rooms on the fourth floor offer panoramic city views but require climbing stairs - no lift. Bed sizes are modest, with some guests finding the mattresses firm. No air conditioning but a fan or cooler is provided. Street-facing rooms can pick up evening noise from nearby bars, while garden-facing rooms are quieter. The shared kitchen is available for food preparation.

Breakfast is described as a simple Italian offering (bread, pastries, hot drinks) but its inclusion depends on the specific room rate booked - confirm at booking. There is no on-site restaurant, but the staff can organise dinners at traditional local restaurants or tasting tours. Alternatively, use the communal kitchen (equipped with refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and cookware) to prepare meals. Numerous cafés and restaurants are within a 3-minute walk, ideal for lunch or dinner.

The property does not have a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre. Guests can enjoy the historic setting on foot, and cycling is possible in the area. Some rooms have a private garden or terrace, offering an outdoor space to relax. A shared lounge and terrace are available for relaxation.

Wi-Fi is free in rooms and public areas. Luggage storage is available free of charge, allowing exploration before check-in or after check-out. Daily housekeeping and towel changes are provided. The shared lounge is a comfortable place to wait, and a shared kitchen includes a refrigerator, freezer, and basic cookware. Bicycles can be stored securely in the garage. The reception desk offers maps and dining recommendations.
