BEST WESTERN PLUS STADIUM INN, New York

The hotel sits alongside the Major Deegan Expressway (I-87), which provides good road access for drivers but also generates constant traffic noise that can be heard from rooms facing the highway. A 10-15 minute walk brings you to the 4 train subway station for direct service to Manhattan. The immediate area is primarily residential and industrial, with a handful of sports bars and fast-food options within about a 1 km walk, concentrated around the stadium. The hotel's location is central for Yankees games but feels less walkable for general neighbourhood exploration; using public transport or rideshares is the standard approach for trips beyond the stadium zone.

Guest rooms are generally described as clean, well-equipped, and recently modernised. All rooms include air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, and a safety deposit box. Rooms with two queen beds are a common option, and many feature a river view. The bathrooms are modern but the showers can be small and the shower head is low-pressure in some units. Noise from the nearby expressway can be intrusive, particularly in rooms facing the road; requesting a room on the back side of the building significantly reduces disturbance. Room size is adequate for two people but can feel tight for families.

A continental breakfast is included and served each morning. The spread typically includes bagels, toast, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, coffee, and juice. Breakfast is self-service and availability is generally good early in the morning, but the selection can diminish later towards the end of the service window if not restocked promptly. For other meals, guests can walk to several sports bars, diners, and fast-food outlets within about a 1 km radius, all concentrated near Yankee Stadium. Coffee lovers may find the in-room coffee maker useful.

The fitness centre is a functional, clean workout room with a range of cardio and strength-training equipment. It is available free of charge to all hotel guests. No other wellness or leisure facilities such as a pool, spa, or sauna are present on site.
