HYATT PLACE PRINCETON, Princeton

The property sits in the Route 1 commercial corridor next to Market Fair Mall, with shops and retail nearby. Princeton University and McCarter Theatre are each about 5 km away, Princeton Battlefield is 8 km, University Square Shopping Center is 3 km, and Trenton-Mercer Airport is 14 km. There is no direct public transport between the hotel and Princeton University, so taxi or rideshare is the practical option for campus trips. Route 1 traffic can be heavy, but the free on-site parking without reservation makes car-based travel straightforward. Nearby dining within roughly 0.3-0.5 km includes On the Border, Corner Bakery Cafe, Yogorino, Bahama Breeze, Seasons 52 and P.F. Chang's.

Typical rooms have a distinct sleeping and living arrangement, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, wardrobe, seating area and safe deposit box. The private bathroom includes a bath or shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Each room also has a pullout sofa with a full-size mattress, and family rooms, allergy-free rooms and cots are available. There are no balconies. The TV supports cable channels but not streaming apps or casting. Mattress and furnishing condition vary by unit, and the in-room heating and cooling units can be noisy; a room away from the elevators may reduce hallway and lift-chime noise. Bathrooms are functional but can feel tight in some rooms, and shower pressure has varied.

Breakfast is an American-style buffet served in the lobby, with scrambled and boiled eggs, pancakes or waffles, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, bread and bagels, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice, milk, coffee, tea and cold cereals. Gluten-free choices are limited to gluten-free cereal. The Placery is a family-friendly American restaurant open daily from noon until 23:30 for lunch and dinner, and the on-site bar and snack bar provide additional options. A minimarket covers snacks and drinks, and a 24/7 microwave is located in the lobby breakfast area for heating food. Room service is not available, so on-site dining is tied to the restaurant and breakfast service hours.

There is no swimming pool, hot tub, spa or wellness centre, and no separate leisure facility beyond the fitness centre and shared lounge/TV area. The shared kitchen and minimarket add practical support for longer stays, and the hotel's position beside an outdoor shopping centre makes retail and dining easily walkable.

Private parking is free and available on site without reservation, with accessible parking spaces. WiFi is free throughout, and the business centre includes free fax/photocopying; meeting or banquet facilities are available for an additional charge. Luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and daily housekeeping are included, with dry cleaning available on weekdays as the on-site laundry option. The 24-hour front desk supports late arrivals and online check-in/out is available. Pets are allowed on request for dogs up to 34 kg, and service dogs are permitted. The property has a lift, accessible facilities for disabled guests, non-smoking rooms with a designated smoking area, key card access and CCTV. The on-site bar and snack purchases are card-only; accepted cards include American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, JCB, Discover and UnionPay.
