BEST WESTERN PLUS TALLAHASSEE NORTH HOTEL, Tallahassee

The hotel is 7 km from Tallahassee city centre and Capitol Hills, and 7 km from the Museum of Florida History. Access to I-10 is immediate, making it a practical base for road trips or visiting the university. Note that turning left out of the hotel is not possible due to a median; drivers must turn right and do a U-turn to reach Walmart and nearby restaurants. For evening dining, Wahoo Seafood Grill (0.5 km) and the Holiday Inn's bar/restaurant are within walking distance.

Accommodations include double rooms, quadruple rooms, and king suites with pull-out sofa beds. Each room is air-conditioned and soundproofed, with heating, ironing facilities, and tea/coffee making amenities. While the property is well-kept, some units show dated features-no USB charging ports, and air conditioning units can be noisy. King suites offer extra sleeping capacity via sofa beds, but all rooms lack balconies. For better comfort, a room away from the interstate is recommended to minimize noise.

Breakfast is an American buffet with a rotating menu including scrambled eggs, sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt, and various breads, plus a make-your-own waffle station. The breakfast area can be small and crowded at peak times. There is no on-site restaurant, but 24-hour coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available in the lobby, along with complimentary cookies and bottled water. Nearby dining options include Wahoo Seafood Grill (0.5 km) and the Holiday Inn's bar/restaurant adjacent.

The outdoor pool is open year-round from 10:00 to 22:00, is fenced, and includes sun loungers and umbrellas. Note the pool is not heated; water temperature averages 60-18 °C. A pool lift is available for accessibility. The fitness centre offers free equipment use. There is no hot tub or spa. The pool area has a few loungers, so earlier visits may offer better seat availability.

The property offers free parking on site (no reservation needed), including accessible spaces. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel. Additional services include a business centre (free), meeting/banquet facilities (fee), daily housekeeping, luggage storage, express check-in/out, and a safety deposit box. The hotel has a lift, wheelchair-accessible rooms with shower benches, and designated smoking areas. Laundry and dry cleaning are available for an extra charge. The front desk operates 24 hours and can assist with local recommendations.
