BEST WESTERN YUMA MALL HOTEL & SUITES, Yuma

Accommodations range from standard double/double rooms to Executive and Presidential suites with separate living areas and kitchenettes equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Select rooms feature Jacuzzi tubs (some in ground) or jetted tubs. All rooms have individual air conditioning units, heating, ironing facilities, and free Wi-Fi. The property's age and condition vary: some areas appear recently remodeled, while others show wear such as worn furniture, stained carpets, and dated bathrooms. Noise insulation between rooms and from the freeway is inconsistent; rooms facing the highway or with thin walls can be noticeably loud. Sofa beds in suites are thin and uncomfortable. Some rooms have poor lighting from windows that let in outside light. For those with mobility needs, first-floor rooms are available by request but cannot be guaranteed.

Breakfast is served daily at PJ's Café, offering a hot buffet that typically includes scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fresh fruit. The breakfast staff is frequently praised for being friendly and efficient. A free evening reception (happy hour) provides two complimentary drink tickets per guest, with beer, wine, and sodas available. The café also serves dinner and cocktails in a modern setting. Snacks and drinks are available from vending machines and a minimarket on site. Guests wanting a different option will find many fast-food and casual dining restaurants within a short walk or drive.

The heated pool and hot tub are set in a courtyard area near PJ's Café, with sun loungers and towels provided. The pool hours run from 7:00 to 22:00. A fitness centre, spa, and wellness centre are available at no extra charge. Additional leisure options within a short drive include golf (within 3 km), bowling, and off-site hiking, cycling, and fishing (some free). Outdoor barbecue facilities and a spacious patio with furniture are available for guest use. Note that the pool and hot tub have experienced closures and cleanliness issues in the past, so it is wise to confirm their status before arrival.

Parking is free and does not require a reservation; accessible spaces and limited 18-wheeler parking are available. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in/check-out, safety deposit boxes, and luggage storage. A business centre, meeting/banquet facilities, and fax/photocopying are available for a fee. Daily housekeeping is included; laundry and dry cleaning are available for an additional charge. The property accepts American Express, Visa, Diners Club, JCB, Discover, Carte Blanche, and MasterCard. No airport shuttle is offered. The hotel is non-smoking throughout, with CCTV and key card access for security.
