B&B HOTEL MILANO SAN SIRO, Milan

The hotel faces the San Siro Stadium and is adjacent to the Ippodromo racecourse, making it a prime choice for event attendees. San Siro Stadio metro station (M5 line) is about 600 m - a 10-minute walk - and provides direct connections to the city centre and Rho Exhibition Centre. The nearest tram stop (line 16) is a 5-minute walk, offering a direct route to Piazza del Duomo. For drivers, the city centre is a 20-minute taxi ride (€20-25). The heating and noise from nearby construction can affect sleep on weekdays. Surrounding streets have minimal shops and services, so plan to buy snacks or drinks before arriving. Free luggage storage is available for exploring after check-out.

The breakfast buffet includes sweet pastries, bread, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and hot drinks. The coffee is consistently highly rated, and the breakfast staff (particularly Rafael) is noted for providing attentive service. The breakfast room can become very crowded during peak hours, which can make the experience feel rushed. No hot cooked items like scrambled eggs or bacon are offered, and vegetables are absent. Powdered scrambled eggs have been reported on occasion. The hotel does not have a restaurant, room service, or a bar, but the reception area has vending machines for snacks and drinks. For meals, several restaurants are within walking distance, including an American Diner next door.

The hotel's primary leisure asset is its immediate proximity to the San Siro Stadium and the Ippodromo, making it ideal for football matches, concerts, and horse racing events. On event days, the atmosphere around the hotel is vibrant, and rooms with a stadium view offer a memorable experience. There are no in-house leisure facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym. Free WiFi and a shared lounge/TV area provide basic relaxation options. The surrounding area includes a park where squirrels can be seen, and the nearby tram line 16 connects directly to the city centre for sightseeing.

The 24-hour reception allows flexible late/early arrival and early check-out. Free luggage storage lets you explore Milan before/after your stay. Express check-in/out is available. Free WiFi works reliably throughout the property. Vending machines for snacks and drinks are located next to reception. A private underground parking garage charges €10 per night, but a space cannot be reserved in advance - early arrival is advised on event days. Electric vehicle charging is available. Daily room cleaning and towel changes are standard. Safety deposit boxes, CCTV, and smoke alarms are installed. The hotel has a lift and is wheelchair accessible (with adapted bathrooms). Pets are allowed with extra charges. Popular payment methods include Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.
