MILAN RETREATS DUOMO SUITES BEAUTY & SPA, Milan

The property sits in a secure, central courtyard setting, approximately 20 metres from the main street, with a tram line running directly in front of the building. The Duomo, metro station, and major shopping streets are all within a few minutes' walk. Milan Linate Airport is 7 km away, and the shuttle bus from MXP airport costs €10 per ticket. The area is safe and well-connected, with many restaurants, bars, and shops immediately around the property. For light sleepers, noise from the tram (operating from 5 am to past midnight) and nearby restaurant terraces can be an issue in street-facing rooms.

Room types include studios, double rooms, quadruple rooms, and one- to two-bedroom apartments. All units feature a private bathroom with a shower, bidet, hairdryer, and free toiletries. Each room is air-conditioned and includes a washing machine, flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, wardrobe, and parquet floors. Kitchenettes are fitted with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, and kitchenware; some units also have a dining area and a seating area. Some apartments offer city views or a private terrace. While the decor and furniture are modern and clean in many units, some units may have older or more basic furnishings, and the building itself is older. Noise levels can be high in road-facing rooms due to the tram line and street traffic, and the walls may not be fully soundproofed. Guests looking for absolute quiet can request a room away from the road.

The property does not have a restaurant or provide breakfast. Each room is equipped with a kitchenette (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware) and a Nespresso coffee machine with complimentary capsules, allowing guests to prepare their own meals and drinks. A kettle, toaster, and microwave are also standard. There are numerous restaurants, cafés, and pizzerias within a 2-minute walk, including Gino Sorbillo and Obica Mozzarella Bar, offering a wide range of dining options just outside the door.

Free high-speed WiFi is available throughout the property. The building has a lift and secure entry with key codes. Reception is not physically on-site, but staff are reachable via WhatsApp and provide daily check-in messages; they speak English, Spanish, French, and Italian. Daily housekeeping is available for an additional charge. Luggage storage is offered at a nearby guest hub at no extra cost. The paid airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes and costs €10 per ticket from MXP. Cots are available on request, and the property is fully non-smoking. For safety, the building has smoke alarms, fire extinguishers, and key access.
