A&O HOSTEL MILANO CA GRANDA, Milan

The hotel sits in a quiet residential area about 850 m from Ospedale Niguarda Ca' Granda hospital and 2 km from the University of Milan Bicocca. The Ca' Granda metro station (line M5) is a short walk away, offering direct 20-25 minute connections to the Duomo and other landmarks. The A51 motorway is 6 km away, and Linate Airport is a 20-minute drive. The surrounding neighbourhood provides access to multiple restaurants, pizzerias, and a supermarket within 0.5 km, allowing practical meal and shopping options without travelling far. The area is calm and walkable, with tram stops also nearby for further flexibility. Road noise from manhole covers can be audible from some rooms, so light sleepers may prefer a quieter room.

The breakfast includes bread, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurt, eggs, and pancakes, along with coffee and juice. It is a basic but generally filling spread, though selection can be limited late in the service window, especially for hot items. The hotel has a bar, snack bar, and a vending machine for drinks and snacks, but does not have a restaurant. Food delivery from nearby venues can be arranged via reception. Several restaurants, pizzerias (e.g., Pizzeria Prato Centenaro), and a café are within 0.5 km, offering Italian and international options. For those wanting a wider choice, a supermarket is also a short walk away.

On-site leisure facilities are limited to an indoor play area for children and a lounge/bar space where guests can relax. There is no spa, gym, sauna, jacuzzi, or swimming pool. For leisure activities, the surrounding residential area is quiet and suitable for walking, and the metro provides easy access to Milan's cultural sites. A nearby Novotel restaurant and a bowling centre are within walking distance for alternative recreation.
