Elgin and Winter Garden Theatre is less than 10 minutes on foot. For longer trips, Union Station is a 15-minute walk away, and the UP Express train to Pearson Airport runs from there. The Pacific Avenue bus that also serves the airport stops 200 metres from the hotel. The surrounding blocks to the east can feel less polished, but the immediate area around Dundas Square is busy and well-lit.

Rooms are clean and modern with flat-screen TVs, small refrigerators, and coffee-making facilities. The standard room is efficiently designed but on the smaller side - a pair of suitcases can be tight. Family rooms provide a double bed in one alcove plus two twin beds, sleeping up to four. Bed type is assigned at check-in based on availability, so a requested queen or king is not guaranteed. Road-facing and lower-floor rooms can be noisy from street activity, and rooms opposite the elevator pick up hallway noise. The room comes with ironing facilities, an in-room safe, and a hairdryer. Some rooms have sliding bathroom doors that do not close fully, and bedside outlets are limited.

The lobby-level restaurant offers breakfast at CAD 24 per person, with a menu that includes eggs, toast, and coffee. It also serves other meals.
