BRUC 3, Barcelona

Situated 600 metres from Passeig de Gracia and 700 metres from La Pedrera, the property is less than 1 km from Passeig de Gracia Metro Station and within 1 km of the city centre. Plaça de Catalunya, Casa Batllo, and the Cathedral of Barcelona are all reachable on foot. The airport is 13 km away, and the train station is about 40 minutes by direct line. Numerous restaurants, cafés, bakeries, and grocery stores are steps away, making it easy to self-cater or eat out. The neighbourhood feels safe and quiet despite its central location.

Room types include double, triple, quadruple, and single rooms. The quadruple and triple rooms feature a balcony and are more spacious. The single room is very compact, located in a windowless interior space with the light switch outside the door, and is suited only for extremely budget-conscious travellers. Noise from the hallway and other guests can be noticeable in rooms near the entrance, kitchen, and toilets. Rooms with windows facing an inner shaft have limited natural light and ventilation; opening windows can also bring street noise. Most rooms have no wardrobe or shelves-guests often use a chair from the kitchen for storage. The quadruple room has air conditioning; other rooms have heating only. Blackout curtains are provided in some rooms. The shared bathrooms include a shower, bidet, and hairdryer. One review noted the mattress can be uncomfortable, while others found it comfortable.

Guests have free access to a shared kitchen for self-catering, though the kitchen only has two chairs, which can be limiting if multiple guests are present. A tapas restaurant is located directly next to the front door. Within a 5-minute walk you'll find Restaurante Can Cargol, La Muscleria, Bar Cugat, and Dow Jones Bar. Ciudad Condal is a 10-minute walk away. Bakeries, cafés, and grocery stores are also just a few steps away, making it easy to buy supplies.

Daily cleaning is provided, though it may occur multiple times per day and can disrupt use of the shower or kitchen during certain hours. The host communicates well before and after arrival, but key handover has occasionally been delayed. No luggage storage is officially advertised, but some guests have stored bags during the check-in window. No internet, parking, or pets are available. The check-in process involves meeting a host at the property; be prepared for possible waiting times. The property has no lift-please note that stairs are required.
