JARDINETS GUEST HOUSE, Barcelona

The guest house is in a lively area with direct train links to Barcelona Airport from Passeig de Gracia station. Multiple metro lines (L4 nearby) and bus stops are within a few minutes' walk, making it easy to reach the city centre, beaches (Barceloneta, 4 metro stops), and major landmarks like Casa Batlló and La Pedrera. The neighbourhood is safe and has many cafés and restaurants at the doorstep, but the street can be busy with traffic and noise, especially for rooms overlooking the road.

Double rooms typically feature a private balcony, air conditioning, heating, iron, and an en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer. Triple rooms (with 3 beds in a single space) also have private bathrooms and are the only category that can accept medium-large dogs. Some rooms have a shared balcony overlooking the street or a shared terrace, while others have private balconies. Rooms facing the road can be noisy, and light sleepers may prefer a quieter option or earplugs. A few rooms open onto a common terrace with no curtain privacy. Triple rooms vary in layout (all beds together or one slightly separated); requested bed configuration (e.g. 3 single beds) cannot be guaranteed. The property is an older building with original features, and some rooms show wear (loose tiles, creaky floors, loud plumbing). Daily cleaning is provided and the space is generally reported as clean and tidy.

The guest house does not serve breakfast or operate a kitchen or restaurant. A kettle, tea, coffee, and occasionally muffins or fruit are provided in the common area. The surrounding area has numerous cafés, bars, and restaurants within a 2-5 minute walk on Passeig de Gracia and side streets, offering a variety of meal options.

There is no swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. For leisure, the guest house offers a shared terrace with outdoor furniture, and bicycle rental is available for an extra charge. The central location provides easy walking access to city attractions (Casa Batlló, La Pedrera, Sagrada Familia) and nearby parks.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Daily housekeeping is complimentary. The front desk is not staffed 24/7; check-in must be arranged in advance, and check-in is only possible from 16:00 to 22:00. Late check-in (after 22:00) costs €40 cash and must be requested 24 hours ahead. Luggage storage is offered from 10:00 if arriving early but is not available after checkout. Express check-in/out, private check-in/out, and ironing service are available. There is no washing machine or kitchen. The lift is small. Pets are allowed on request (dogs only, one per room, charges apply). Fire extinguishers and key access are provided for safety. Accepted payment: Visa, MasterCard.
