The property sits in the upscale Salamanca neighbourhood, one of Madrid's safest and most central areas. Velázquez Metro (Line 4) and Serrano Metro are a 2-minute walk, putting the city centre, Puerta del Sol, and the main museums (Prado, Reina Sofía, Thyssen) within a 15-20 minute walk or a short metro ride. Retiro Park is a 10-minute walk. The area is filled with designer shops, restaurants, and cafés, making it ideal for exploring on foot. For airport transfers, the metro provides a direct 30-minute connection, or a taxi costs roughly €30. Bus stops are also steps from the entrance.

Double rooms measure approximately 19 m2 and include a wardrobe, electric kettle, and a small fridge/mini-bar (available on request for a small charge). Twin rooms are also around 19 m2, and triple rooms are available. Superior or exterior rooms are larger and feature a balcony facing Velázquez Street. A few rooms have a private terrace. Bathrooms are private and include a shower, hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries; some are more spacious, while others are compact. The building itself is older, but the hotel occupies the top floors (5th to 7th) and has been renovated. Some rooms face an internal airshaft and are very quiet, while street-facing rooms may have more noise. Interior rooms are noted for being very quiet. The property has two small elevators to reach the reception (5th floor) and then the guest floors.

Breakfast is served in the café-breakfast room on the 5th floor and includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, yoghurt, fresh fruit, and hot drinks. It is widely described as a good-value, varied buffet. The hotel does not have a lunch or dinner restaurant.
