CA BELA - PORTA ROMANA, Milan

The property sits in a lively, safe neighbourhood with a tram stop and metro entrance practically on the doorstep. From Milan Central Station, take the yellow metro to Porta Romana - a quick three stops from the Duomo. The immediate streets are packed with bars, restaurants, a supermarket (Conad), and the QC Terme spa, all within a short walk. Despite the vibrant street life and tramline noise on the main road, the area feels secure with multiple locked building doors. The location is equally practical for Linate Airport (7 km) and offers easy car-free access across the city.

The property offers double and triple rooms, all with private bathrooms (bath or shower, bidet, hairdryer), air conditioning, heating, flat-screen TVs with streaming services, a work desk, wardrobe, and a balcony with city or inner courtyard views. Rooms are generally compact - some feel small for two people with luggage - but are clean, stylishly decorated, and feature comfortable beds. Room 1 and other street-facing units can be noisy due to the nearby tramline and occasional nightlife. Some bathrooms have no shower light; a few units have separate shower-toilet cubicles. The shared kitchen common area is a well-kept space with a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and complimentary snacks.

The property provides a coffee shop for pastries and coffee, plus a beautifully appointed shared kitchen area equipped with a coffee machine, kettle, microwave, fridge, and a small supply of complimentary snacks. Breakfast is not included or offered. The surrounding streets have numerous dining options within a 2-minute walk, including Italian bakeries, pizza takeaway, and international cuisine. Guests preferring a full morning meal can easily find cafés and supermarkets nearby.

The property itself does not host gym, pool, or wellness facilities. Its proximity to the QC Terme spa (a 2-minute walk) is a practical advantage for thermal baths, saunas, and massages. The shared lounge/TV area offers a comfortable space to relax, and the balcony rooms provide a small private outdoor area.

Services include private and express digital check-in/out, daily housekeeping, and a shared lounge with TV area. The fully equipped shared kitchen is available for guest use. Luggage storage can be arranged before check-in and after check-out in a designated area. Security features CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, fire extinguishers and key card access. Accessibility is aided by a lift (elevator) in the building, plus stairs. No iron, washing machine, or room safe is provided. The property does not have a 24-hour reception but guest communication via WhatsApp is typically responsive.
