CAPITAL O HOTEL BRISAS DEL MAR PLAYA DEL CARMEN, Playa del Carmen

The hotel sits on Avenida 10, in a quiet residential area two blocks from the sand. Playa 88 and the main beach stretch are within easy walking distance, while Quinta Avenida's restaurants, bars, and shops are about a 7-minute walk. An OXXO convenience store is at the corner, and several local cafés, taco spots, and a vegan restaurant are nearby. The neighbourhood is generally quiet at night, making it suitable for restful sleep, yet central enough for day and evening exploration. Cozumel International Airport is 37 km from the property.

Accommodation spans double rooms, suites, and apartments. Each unit features air conditioning, a private bathroom, and a private balcony; some rooms include a pool view. Suites and apartments are spacious, with some apartments offering a full kitchen, refrigerator, and breakfast bar. Beds are double/matrimonial size, noted as smaller than queen/king, which may suit solo travellers or couples. The property is older in finish in parts, but rooms are consistently clean and comfortable. The roof terrace with pool, loungers, and barbecue is accessible from guest floors via the lift.

The property has one restaurant offering American and Mexican dishes, suitable for casual dining with children. A snack bar is also on site for lighter bites. Room service is available for convenience. The surrounding streets offer additional options: a vegan restaurant next door, and many taco places and fruit shops within a few minutes' walk. Quinta Avenida, 0.5 km away, provides a broader selection of restaurants and bars.

The hotel features two pools: one on the ground level open all year, and a rooftop pool with sun loungers and a barbecue area. The rooftop is a popular afternoon spot for late sun and relaxing. The sun terrace and outdoor seating areas provide additional relaxation space. Beach access is a two-block walk, making it easy to combine pool time with ocean swimming. The property is wheelchair accessible.
