Location

Situated across from Del Monte Shopping Center, just 5 minutes from Monterey State Beach and 10 minutes from Monterey Peninsula Airport.

The motel sits right on the main highway, making it easy to access Cannery Row, Fisherman's Wharf, and Carmel-by-the-Sea (about 10 minutes away). The Del Monte Shopping Center is directly across the street, providing a Whole Foods Market, restaurants, and other convenience stores. Monterey Peninsula College is 2 km away, and Monterey State Beach is a short 5-minute drive. The location is particularly convenient for participants in the Big Sur Marathon, as well as anyone exploring the Monterey Peninsula by car. The freeway is nearby, yet the property is generally quiet at night.

Wellness and Leisure

The property does not have a pool, spa, or gym, but select rooms include a private jetted tub for relaxation.

Carmel Hill Lodge does not feature a swimming pool, spa, or fitness centre. The main leisure offering is the private jetted hot tub available in the King Suite rooms. The location provides easy access to Monterey State Beach, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf for outdoor activities. An enclosed, fenced pet area with AstroTurf and picnic tables is available, providing a safe space for dogs to play off-leash. For guests seeking a more extensive wellness or leisure experience, the nearby area offers numerous outdoor and recreational options.
