CASA DI CAMILLA, Rome

The apartment sits in a tranquil inner courtyard, so despite its central location, the noise level is remarkably low. Vittorio Emanuele metro station is directly outside, giving direct access to the rest of Rome. Termini train station is a comfortable 10-minute walk, providing rail connections including the express train to Rome Ciampino Airport (13 km away) and Fiumicino Airport. The neighborhood around the apartment is packed with dozens of bars, restaurants, and shops on every budget, making it easy to eat, drink, and explore without relying on transport. A large park (Basilic) is also within walking distance for a relaxing break.

The property offers a well-fitted kitchenette with a stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, and all necessary cookware. The host frequently leaves complimentary welcome items such as coffee pods, tea, yogurts, pastries, and jams, making it easy to prepare a quick breakfast before heading out. Additional breakfast options can be selected when booking. For dining out, the immediate area is filled with highly rated Italian and international restaurants, including La Vecchia Conca (0.5 km), Trattoria Monti (0.5 km), and Ren Chinese Restaurant (0.5 km), as well as pastry shops like Pasticceria Regoli (0.5 km) for a morning treat.

The property does not feature a spa, swimming pool, or fitness centre, but this is offset by its strategic position for exploring the city. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Trevi Fountain are all within a 10-15 minute walk. A large park is located nearby for jogging or a leisurely afternoon. The courtyard itself offers a quiet, private outdoor space to relax after a day of sightseeing.

The apartment offers free high-speed WiFi in all areas, which has proven reliable for streaming, video calls, and browsing. Luggage storage is available for free, which is especially helpful given the early 09:30 check-out time. A paid shuttle service can be arranged (note: not an airport shuttle, but a standard shuttle). The host is known for being exceptionally friendly and helpful, providing breakfast extras and local tips. The entire property is non-smoking, with a designated smoking area outside. Safety features include CCTV in the outdoor area, smoke alarms, and fire extinguishers. Check-in is not self-service; the host meets you at the property at the agreed time, which adds a personal touch but requires scheduling.
