CASA MARIN - METRO MALATESTA, Rome

The apartment sits between two metro stations, with Malatesta (Line C) just a short walk away. Line C can close early on certain days or entirely on some days, but dedicated replacement buses run along the same route. Direct bus routes also connect without changes to major landmarks like the Colosseum. The surrounding area includes the lively Pigneto district, 10 minutes away, packed with local bars, trattorias, and pizzerias. Two large supermarkets (Lidl and Conad) are within walking distance, along with bakeries, a pharmacy, and many smaller shops. For airport connections, Rome Ciampino is 15 km away; use pre-booked shuttle or taxi.

The apartment sleeps up to 4 people: one double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the living room. The rooms are separated by the kitchen and bathroom, offering good privacy between sleeping areas. Air conditioning is fitted in each room for individual temperature control. The property is newly renovated, clean, and spacious, with windows overlooking a garden courtyard that ensures very quiet nights. Kitchen equipment includes a stovetop, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, cookware, tea and coffee maker. Additional practical touches: a washing machine, ironing facilities, wardrobe, dining area, and a sitting area with a flat-screen TV. Free toiletries and a bath are provided in the private bathroom.

The fully equipped kitchen allows for convenient home-cooked meals, useful for longer stays or families. Within 0.3-0.5 km, choices include 'Bast Mora Social Pub', 'Da Domenico', 'Urbis pizzeria', 'Pizzeria Margari', and 'Egeo Taverna Greca'. Many more bars, trattorias, and pizzerias serve locals in the Pigneto neighbourhood, a 10-minute walk. Supermarkets Lidl and Conad are nearby for groceries.

This apartment is not equipped with a gym, pool, spa, or dedicated leisure amenities. The location compensates with excellent connectivity to Rome's historic centre, allowing guests to explore the city's cultural and entertainment offerings. The inner-courtyard-facing rooms ensure a tranquil environment for relaxation after a day out.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment and is free of charge. Check-in and check-out are handled via a self-service app, requiring internet access. An airport shuttle can be arranged for an additional charge. The reception / host speaks English, French, Italian, and Romanian. The property is fully soundproofed, allergy-free, and non-smoking. Security features include fire extinguishers and key-only access. No pets are allowed.
