CASINA NEL BORGO, Bologna

This central location places you within a 7-minute walk of the main shopping street Via dell'Indipendenza and just under 1 km from the iconic Piazza Maggiore. Bologna's main train station is about 12 minutes on foot, and the historic centre is a 15-minute walk. The area is lively in the evenings with nearby bars and music, and the building's entrance is off a less brightly lit side street. For those without a car, the central location makes most attractions and transport links easily walkable. The apartment is on the second floor of an older building, accessed via a narrow staircase with 32 steps.

The apartment offers 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms, and 1 bathroom with a shower and bidet. The main living area includes a sofa bed and dining table, while the kitchen is equipped with a stovetop, refrigerator, oven, and kitchenware. Both bedrooms have air conditioning, which is particularly useful during hot weather. The property is generally spacious and well-suited for three to four people, though the bedroom faces an inner courtyard and has no blackout curtains or blinds, so natural light enters early in the morning. The overall condition of the apartment and its furnishings is noted as older and basic, with some maintenance issues reported over time. Useful amenities include a washing machine and a tea and coffee maker.

While the property itself does not have a dedicated wellness area or leisure facilities such as a pool, spa, or gym, the surrounding region offers outdoor activities like rafting. For relaxation within the apartment, guests can use the living area with a seating area and a flat-screen TV. The central location also puts guests in easy reach of Bologna's cultural and entertainment options, including Piazza Maggiore and its many cafés and shops.
