CENTRAL SUITE BED&BREAKFAST, Bologna

The B&B is set in a gated residential building, providing a calm, quiet stay. Archiginnasio di Bologna and Piazza Maggiore are easily reached on foot in 15-19 minutes. The property is also a 10 km drive from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport. A bus stop is directly outside, and several restaurants and bars are within 0.5 km. Paid parking (€15/day) is available at a nearby petrol station, with limited free street parking in blue zones within walking distance.

Room types include double, triple, and quadruple configurations, all with private bathrooms featuring a walk-in shower or bath. Triple rooms offer either a bath or shower, while quadruple rooms provide 3 beds and a patio. Air conditioning, heating, a flat-screen TV, wardrobe, and tea/coffee maker are standard. Rooms on lower floors or near common areas can be noisier due to plumbing; light sleepers may prefer a top-floor or quieter room. Some rooms have no window in the bathroom, and maintenance issues such as peeling wallpaper or worn headboards have been noted.

Breakfast includes bread, pastries, jam, Nutella, cold meats, cereal, and hot drinks. It is self-service with flexible timings, which suits early or late risers. Items are pre-packaged rather than fresh, and the selection is simple rather than extensive. For a heartier meal, several restaurants and cafés are within a 10-minute walk, such as Trattoria Fantoni and Trattoria Baraldi.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas and works well. Daily housekeeping is provided, and luggage storage is available for early arrivals or late departures. The building has a lift. A paid parking arrangement (€15/day) is available at a nearby petrol station; free street parking is not guaranteed. Check-in and check-out are managed by the host, who is responsive and can accommodate flexible self-service key return. Cots can be provided on request.
