CERVANTES SUITES, Malaga

The property is set in a lively, working-class neighbourhood at the edge of the historic centre, providing easy walking access to museums, the Alcazaba (less than 1 km), and La Malagueta Beach (a 17-minute walk). Dozens of restaurants and cafés are within a 5-minute radius. The surrounding street is narrow and the area is undergoing renovation; some have noted the immediate block feels rough, especially at night. The location is a strong base for daytime exploration and for those comfortable with a less touristy setting, but light sleepers or those expecting a polished historic-centre feel may find the street unpleasant.

Each unit is a self-contained studio with a private entrance, a bathroom with shower, and a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, kettle, toaster, and cookware. Bed configurations vary: some have a double bed, others have twin beds; the room photos correspond to different unit types, so confirm bedding and balcony preference at booking. While the interiors are newly renovated and well-maintained, some rooms are described as smaller than they appear in photos, with limited storage (no wardrobe). Ground-floor rooms may experience noise from the building entrance and plumbing from upper floors. Rooms facing the inner courtyard can be very quiet but offer limited views. Air conditioning and heating are provided.

The kitchenette is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee machine, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. A range of restaurants and cafés is within a short walk, including Garcia Taberna and Bombay Spice (0.5 km), La Plaza (0.5 km), and the La Merced Gourmet Marketplace. The property does not have a restaurant, bar, or breakfast service.

There is no pool, spa, gym, or similar recreational amenity. The central location provides easy access to Málaga's cultural and leisure options, including La Malagueta Beach (a 17-minute walk) and the historic city centre.

Wi-Fi is free in all areas. A laundry room is available for guest use. Luggage storage is offered before check-in (from 11:00) and after check-out. Housekeeping, towel changes, and additional supplies must be requested directly via phone or WhatsApp. There is no reception desk; entry is via a personal access code, and support is provided online or by phone. Safety features include CCTV in common areas, smoke alarms, and a safety deposit box.
