Chan Cha La 99 Hostel sits on a quiet, safe side street just off the main road, with BTS Bang Chak station about 50 metres away - less than a 1-minute walk. The Sukhumvit BTS line connects directly to major shopping districts (Emporium Mall 6 km, Siam areas), business hubs, and cultural landmarks. Lumpini Park is 10 km away, and the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre is 6 km. The area is quiet at night and safe to walk from the station. A 7-Eleven, local market, street food stalls, and several restaurants are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. From Suvarnabhumi Airport, take the Airport Rail Link to Makkasan or Phaya Thai, then transfer to the BTS to Bang Chak (about 40-50 minutes total). No airport shuttle is available.

All rooms are private - no dormitory beds. Each room includes air conditioning, tiled floors, a work desk, and a flat-screen satellite TV. Single, double, and twin configurations are available. Bed sizes vary: single beds in single rooms, twin or double beds in larger rooms. Sheets and towels are provided. Some rooms have no windows, but all have reliable air conditioning. The private external bathroom for single rooms is located one floor up; for double and twin rooms it is on the same floor. Each external bathroom is assigned to a specific room and marked with the room number, so it is private even though it is outside the room. Rooms without windows still remain comfortable due to the effective A/C and fan setup. The property is accessed by stairs only, and some rooms are on upper floors. A few rooms are described as basic but clean and well-maintained.

There is no spa, wellness centre, swimming pool, or fitness room. The hostel maintains a calm, quiet environment - no events or parties are held, and all guests are asked to keep their voices down after 10 PM to ensure quality sleep. The atmosphere is better suited for relaxation and recharging than for active leisure. Nearby, Lumpini Park (10 km) offers green space, jogging paths, and a lake, reachable by BTS.

Wi-Fi is free in rooms, with separate routers for low and high floors providing fast, reliable connections suitable for video calls and online classes. Luggage storage is free both before check-in and after checkout, and you can keep your luggage in the lobby area until departure. A shared kitchen with fridge, kettle, and free coffee/tea is available. Laundry washing and drying service is offered for a small fee (around 100 baht total). The minimarket on site sells snacks and toiletries. Security includes CCTV in common areas and outside, key card and key access, and fire extinguishers. An ATM/cash machine is available on site. No parking is provided, and the building has stairs only - no lift. Minimum age for check-in is 18 (adults-only).
