While daytime is quiet, from evening onwards the area becomes very loud with music, patrons smoking outside the single window and people gathering in the courtyard. Broken glass and litter are common in the patio. Despite the noise, the location is central: Temple of Debod is 2 km away, Gran Via 2 km and Plaza Mayor 3 km. For city exploration, the metro station provides rail connections to the rest of Madrid. The property is 18 km from the airport, but given the surrounding environment, driving or parking is not practical.
