CHARMSTAY SWISS COTTAGE, London

Swiss Cottage station on the Jubilee line is a 4-minute walk, providing direct access to central London, Wembley, and the West End. Finchley Road station (Metropolitan and Jubilee lines) is also nearby. The area is well served by bus routes, including the 13 to Victoria. Within a short walk there are numerous restaurants, cafés, and a Waitrose supermarket. Landmarks such as London Zoo (3 km), Lord's Cricket Ground (3 km), and Camden Market (3 km) are easily reached by tube or bus. London City Airport is 19 km away. The neighbourhood is quiet at night and feels safe, even when returning late.

The property's accommodation ranges from compact single studios to one-bedroom apartments and a family studio with two beds. All units include a private bathroom with a bath or shower, a kitchenette equipped with a microwave, toaster, electric kettle, and coffee maker, plus free toiletries. Some rooms are on the top floor without a lift - the stairs can be tiring with suitcases. Larger apartments, such as the Garden View and the basement family apartment, provide more space and include a queen and a single bed. Several units have fans rather than air conditioning; rooms can become warm during hot weather if the windows are closed for security. The bed is a standard UK double, which some find small for two people. Noise from other apartments can be audible due to the building's age and layout.

Wi-Fi is provided free of charge and is generally reliable, though some have noted it can be variable. The building includes a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer that guests can use without additional payment - useful for longer stays. An iron and ironing board are also available. Communication with the host is via WhatsApp or email, and staff are responsive to requests. Luggage storage is offered before check-in or after check-out, allowing guests to explore the area without their bags. Check-in is contactless and self-service around the clock. No parking is available on site; local paid car parks or online parking services are the recommended alternatives. Pets are not allowed. The property is non-smoking throughout.
