CHICLAVAPIES CENTER, Madrid

The apartment sits on a relatively quiet street yet is steps from the vibrant Lavapiés neighbourhood. Atocha train station and Reina Sofia Museum are within a 500-800 metre walk. El Retiro Park is 2 km away, and Plaza Mayor is a 15-minute stroll. The closest metro station (Gran Vía) is 2 km, but the area is well served by buses and the nearby Atocha rail hub makes airport connections straightforward with a direct train to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (14 km). Eight restaurants and bars are within 0.5 km.

The accommodation includes a separate bedroom, a living room, and a private bathroom with a shower. The main bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed, large blankets, and crisp white towels. The kitchen is fully fitted with a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, and kitchenware, plus a washing machine and dryer. Air conditioning and heating are both available. The living room has a sofa bed, but if used for a third person the floor space (especially the passage to the bathroom) becomes tight. The apartment is on a quiet street, and the balcony adds a pleasant outdoor option.

A fully equipped kitchen (fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, utensils) allows complete meal preparation. Surrounding Lavapiés has numerous dining options within 0.5 km - including La Buga del Lobo, Tapas y Fotos, and El Automatico - offering everything from tapas to sit-down meals. The neighbourhood is lively both day and night, with supermarkets and cafés also easily reachable.
