CINECITTA ROOMS HAVEN, Rome

The metro exit is literally at the building's front door, giving immediate access to Line A which connects to Termini station (15 minutes) and the historic centre (around 30 minutes). For drivers, free street parking is available but spaces are not reserved. The neighbourhood is safe, residential, and well-served: a large supermarket, a grocery store, and several restaurants, pizzerias, and pubs are within a 2-5 minute walk, including I Siciliani, Osteria V8 A'tipika, and Gusto Pizza. The Cinecittà film studios and the Aqueduct Park are also within walking distance, making the location especially convenient for culture and leisure visitors.

Rooms are very compact - especially triple and quadruple configurations - and the bathrooms feature extremely small shower cabins that can be difficult for anyone over 1.70m to use. There is very little storage space: no wardrobes, only a small open hanging rail, and limited floor space for suitcases. Beds are a mixed experience; the mattresses on some beds show significant wear, creating a dip in the centre, while others are reported as comfortable with good pillows. Soundproofing is minimal: thin walls transmit conversations, plumbing noise, and hallway sounds, and road-facing rooms are affected by traffic noise from the street. Each room has air conditioning, heating, a TV, and a kettle. Daily housekeeping is provided, which includes towel changes and bed-making.

Breakfast is provided as a set of wrapped items placed in the room: typically a packaged croissant or biscuit, jam, a small cake, and instant coffee bags with a kettle. The selection is very basic and does not include fresh bread, cheese, eggs, or Lavazza-style coffee. The items are replenished each day, but leftovers from a previous day are not removed. For a fuller or more varied morning meal, the surrounding streets offer several cafés and bars within a few minutes' walk that serve proper Italian breakfast options. A nearby supermarket also provides fresh fruit and groceries for self-prepared breakfasts.

The only outdoor space is a small terrace that offers a place to sit but is not equipped for sunbathing or exercise. For leisure, the nearby Aqueduct Park (Parco degli Acquedotti) is a popular green area for jogging, walking, and picnics, located within walking distance. The Cinecittà film studios are also close by, offering guided tours of the historic sets. No swimming, spa, or fitness amenities are available on site.
