HOTEL CLARIS, Prague

The hotel sits in a quiet inner courtyard off a residential street, yet public transport is exceptionally convenient. The metro (200 m) and tram (50 m) provide direct access to the old town in about 10 minutes on foot or one stop by metro. Rieger Park, with its famous beer garden and city views, is 200 m away. A large supermarket (Albert) is across the street, and numerous restaurants, cafés, and bars are within a few minutes' walk. The main railway station is about a 15-minute walk. The neighbourhood is safe and well-connected for exploring all of Prague.

Room sizes vary: some are spacious, others more compact. Interior-facing rooms are noticeably quieter than those on the street side. There is no air conditioning - heating is provided, but some rooms can feel cool in winter. Bed condition varies - some beds are comfortable, while others are soft or worn. Carpets are standard. No rooms have a balcony. Some rooms include a fridge. Daily housekeeping is provided, and rooms are generally clean. Note that the hotel has no lift, so rooms are only accessible via stairs.

The breakfast buffet includes bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, eggs, and hot drinks. Availability may vary by booking date - it is best to confirm and pre-order if possible. There is no restaurant or bar on site, so plan to eat out for lunch and dinner. The surrounding area offers a wide range of dining options, from affordable local eateries (including Vietnamese) to international cuisine, all within a few minutes' walk.
