Nordbahnhof S-Bahn station is immediately next to the property, providing direct rail access across the city. The Naturkundemuseum underground station is 400 m away, and tram and bus routes to the city centre and main train station are within a few minutes' walk. The Berlin Wall Memorial is a short stroll, and several restaurants, bars and shops are within 500 m, making the area very walkable. No parking is available, so arriving by public transport is the most practical option.

Each cottage is a small room with bunk beds and a wall-mounted shelf, leaving very limited floor space. A 4-bed cube accommodates a maximum of 4 people, and double beds can be requested at check-in. The rooms have heating and a fan, but no air conditioning, so summer heat can be uncomfortable. Natural light enters from a window, but some rooms lack proper blackout curtains, allowing street light and early morning brightness inside. Sound insulation is minimal: nearby conversations, tennis court activity from 08:00, and bar noise until late are easily audible. These cottages are functional for sleeping after a day out, but not suited for extended relaxation or large luggage.

The on-site Beachmitte area offers a private sandy beach setting with 20 beach volleyball courts, a high rope course, and a climbing wall. Padel courts are also available. The bar and outdoor seating create a social, Mediterranean-style atmosphere. Sports courts are active from early morning until late evening, and noise from play is part of the experience. No swimming pool, spa or wellness centre exists on site, and the beach is a sand area, not a sea beach. The leisure facilities are a key draw for social travelers, groups and sports enthusiasts.

Wi-Fi is available for free in the common areas. Luggage storage is free of charge, which is useful for early arrivals or late departures. The bar and snack bar are on site. An ATM / cash machine is located at the property. Fax / photocopying is available for an additional charge. Accepted payment methods include Visa, Maestro, EC-Card and MasterCard. There is no parking, no airport shuttle, no pets allowed, and no private bathrooms. Housekeeping is not automatic; the shared bathrooms may need attention between uses. The property has a designated smoking area and uses key card access for security.
