Kurfürstendamm - Berlin's main shopping boulevard - is a 3-minute walk away, offering boutiques, cafés and entertainment. Uhlandstraße underground station (U1) is 4 minutes on foot, providing direct connections to the city centre and major sights like the Brandenburg Gate. Bus lines 249 from Zoologischer Garten station run until late, and direct buses serve Tegel Airport and the ICC exhibition centre. The area is packed with restaurants - from Vietnamese bowls to Japanese cuisine to Hard Rock Cafe - all within 200-500 metres. A large Lidl supermarket is directly opposite the hotel. For drivers, the A100 city motorway is close by, though on-site parking costs €26/day and cannot be reserved; alternative garages (Edo for €15/24h, Q Fürst for €25/24h) are within a short walk. The hotel is in Berlin's low-emission zone, so a green emissions sticker is mandatory.
