Shipwreck Island Waterpark is 4 km away, and Gulf World Marine Park is 7 minutes by car. Numerous restaurants - including Homemade Ice Cream Shoppe, Local Steamer, AutentiKa Mexican Grille, Mr Bg's Diner, and Runaway Island - are within a 0.5 km walk. A Walmart is nearby for groceries. The area can have heavy traffic; parking the car and walking or using the free shuttle and local trolley stop is recommended.

Units range from studios to two-bedroom suites, all with oceanfront balconies. Each condo includes a fully equipped kitchen (stovetop, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, cookware), a washer and dryer, and a separate living area. Bed configurations include king, queen, double, and bunk beds. Private bathrooms with bathtubs and free toiletries are standard. Air conditioning and heating are provided. Some rooms have been renovated; others are older and may show wear. Window condensation and musty smells have been noted in units where balcony doors are kept closed. Road-facing floors can be noisier. Higher floors offer exceptional sunset views.

A tiki bar by the pool and a sky bar with evening entertainment offer tropical cocktails and drinks. Vending machines for drinks and snacks are available.
