COLOR DESIGN HOTEL, Paris

Located in the Bastille district, the hotel sits on a quiet street with a Carrefour supermarket directly opposite and numerous restaurants, boutiques, and theatres within a short walk. Metro Faidherbe-Chaligny (line 8) is 100 metres away, providing direct connections to the city centre (15-20 minutes) and Eiffel Tower area. Gare de Lyon (TGV, RER, Metro) is a 12-minute walk, making it convenient for travellers arriving by train. The area is lively but the street itself remains calm, allowing for undisturbed sleep. The Marché d'Aligre and the lively Faubourg Saint Antoine are close by, adding to the location's convenience for dining and shopping. A bike-share (Velib') and car-share (Autolib') station are less than 100 metres away.

Each room includes air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, an iPod docking station, a safety deposit box, and a private bathroom with either a shower or bathtub and a hairdryer. Free toiletries are provided, and rooms have a CD player. Some rooms feature a rain shower. The overall room size varies: some rooms are described as spacious, while others are noted as compact, particularly those with a double bed. The building is older, and soundproofing between rooms is limited; noise from the lift and hallway can be an issue. Some rooms have a view of a courtyard, offering more quiet. Bathroom doors in some rooms are reported to be difficult to close fully, and some bathroom fixtures show signs of wear. The property has a lift.

The breakfast buffet typically includes fresh bread, croissants, pains au chocolat, pancakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, yogurts, fresh fruit juice, and hot drinks. The dining room is a charming, stone-vaulted space. Breakfast is not included in the room rate and costs €15 per person (€7 for children aged 3 to 10). The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but the surrounding area has a wide variety of dining options, including French, Japanese, and Algerian cuisine, all within a short walk. A Carrefour supermarket across the street is convenient for snacks and drinks. Room service is available until 11:00.

There are no on-site wellness or leisure facilities. Guests looking for these amenities will not find them at this property.
