HOTEL L'INTERLUDE, Paris

The hotel sits on a safe, quiet street lined with bakeries, restaurants, and shops. Metro lines 8 and 6, plus tram T3a, provide fast connections to central Paris, Accor Arena, Bercy Village, and Gare de Lyon. Eiffel Tower is about 45 minutes by metro or 30 minutes by taxi. Orly Airport is accessible via Metro line 14. A Sunday market sets up outside the hotel, adding local colour. For drivers, the hotel offers off-site private parking (€19/day, reservation essential, tight entrance). The Bois de Vincennes park is within walking distance, and numerous eateries (Le Four, Au Tramway, Villa Romana, boulangeries) are within 300 metres.

Standard rooms are compact - typical for Paris - with limited luggage space, so packing light is recommended. Superior rooms offer a bathtub and courtyard views. Family and quadruple rooms are larger and can accommodate 2 adults with children. Rooms include air conditioning, heating, electric kettle, tea/coffee facilities, soundproof windows, and a hairdryer. No rooms have a balcony. Some top-floor rooms have views over the boulevard. Street-facing rooms may hear traffic noise; light sleepers may prefer an interior courtyard room. Decor is functional and clean but can feel dated. Bed comfort is generally good, with crisp white sheets and firm pillows. The lift stops between floors (half-landings), meaning guests must carry luggage up or down a short flight of stairs - this can be challenging with heavy bags or for those with mobility concerns.

The breakfast buffet (€13 per person) offers bread, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, yogurts, cereal, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, fruit juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. The spread is adequate for a solid start but limited in fresh fruit and vegetables. The breakfast room can feel cramped during peak hours, and replenishment may lag on busy days. For other meals, the hotel does not have a restaurant. A coffee house on site and vending machines for drinks and snacks are available. The surrounding block offers numerous dining options within a 3-minute walk: Le Four (French bistro), Au Tramway (traditional), Villa Romana (Italian), Chez Long (Asian), and several bakeries for takeaway.

Wellness amenities are not available at the property. The hotel does not have a spa, pool, gym, sauna, or jacuzzi. A terrace is accessible for relaxation. Guests looking for leisure activities can walk to Bois de Vincennes (5 minutes) for jogging, cycling, or boating. The Accor Arena and Bercy Village are within 15 minutes on foot or a short metro ride, offering concerts, sports events, dining, and entertainment. The Sunday market outside the hotel provides a lively local experience.
