COLOSSEO ROOMS IMPERIAL ROME, Rome

The guest house sits in the heart of ancient Rome, with the Colosseum literally across the street. The Domus Aurea is within a 2-minute walk, and the Roman Forum is 1 km away, making the entire archaeological area easily accessible on foot. Rome Ciampino Airport is 13 km from the property, and Fiumicino is about 30 minutes by car or shuttle. The nearest metro station is a short walk away, and tram stops are also nearby, so travelling to other districts is straightforward. The surrounding streets are packed with cafes, restaurants, and wine bars - all within a 2-minute walk - so you never need to go far for food or drink.

All rooms feature soundproof walls that effectively block noise from the bars and streets below - music from nearby venues can play until 2 am but is not audible inside. The air conditioning is strong and reliable, essential during Roman heatwaves. Each room includes a private bathroom with a bidet and either a bath or shower, plus a minibar, wardrobe, dressing area, and a work desk. Some rooms offer views of the Colosseum, the Ludus Magnus ruins, or Oppian Hill, but these must be booked in advance. Rooms are spacious enough to feel comfortable, and daily housekeeping keeps the space clean. Note that there is no elevator, so all units are reached by stairs.

Breakfast is available and can be delivered directly to the room, offering a convenient start to the day without needing to go out. The selection includes fresh fruit (free of charge) and, for a supplement, wine or champagne. Given the property's prime location, there are also countless restaurants, cafes, and wine bars within a 2-minute radius - from Osteria Angelino dal 1899 to Pasqualino al Colosseo - so evening dining choices are plentiful and varied. The staff can provide recommendations and assist with reservations.

Colosseo Rooms Imperial Rome does not provide a spa, pool, or fitness centre. The property itself is a guest house focused on accommodation and location, so wellness and leisure activities centre entirely on exploring the surrounding archaeological area. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Domus Aurea are all within a short walk, offering unparalleled cultural access. For those who want a more active outing, the nearby metro and tram lines connect to other parts of the city, including parks and the Appian Way.

The guest house offers free Wi-Fi throughout the building and a range of practical services. Daily housekeeping is included at no extra cost, and fresh towels are provided each day. Luggage storage is free, allowing you to drop bags before check-in or after check-out without extra hassle. Express check-in and check-out can be arranged, and the staff have been noted for accommodating early arrivals when the room is ready. A paid shuttle service is available for airport transfers, with pricing quoted on request based on time and number of travellers. Car hire can also be arranged. Safety features include CCTV, a safety deposit box in each room, and key-card access. Pets are allowed on request (charges may apply). The reception staff speak German, English, Spanish, French, Italian, and Chinese.
