COMFORT SUITES RALEIGH DURHAM AIRPORT/RTP, Durham

The hotel is less than a 5-minute drive from Raleigh-Durham International Airport, with a free 24-hour shuttle available for airport transfers, saving taxi or rideshare costs. Major destinations such as Duke University Medical Center, the Research Triangle Park, and downtown Raleigh are reachable within a 10-15 minute drive via I-40. The immediate area offers practical dining options: Jimmy John's and Page Road Grill are each about a half-mile walk or short drive. A left turn into the property from Page Road can be tight; approach with caution from either direction. The surrounding commercial area is quiet at night, making it a practical base for travellers with a car or for those relying on the airport shuttle. Ample free parking is available on site, and the neighborhood is safe for walking during the day.

Each suite is laid out as a distinct living and sleeping zone, with a sitting area that includes a sofa, coffee table, and desk. Beds are consistently reported as comfortable, with soft pillows and linens. In-room amenities include a microwave, compact refrigerator, coffee maker, ironing board, and an AM/FM alarm clock. Many rooms also feature a jetted jacuzzi tub (with a separate timer switch located near the hairdryer). Condition varies significantly by room: some units show visible wear such as water-stained ceilings, peeling wallpaper, broken closet doors, torn lampshades, and worn carpet. Bathrooms are functional but compact, with low toilets and a shower made of thin acrylic with wide seams. The air conditioning unit is loud on high fan but effective; setting the fan to low improves sleep comfort. Rooms are not soundproofed - noise from hallways, elevators, and roof equipment can affect light sleepers.
