SPARK BY HILTON GREENSBORO, Greensboro

The hotel is set in a business area with a cluster of chain restaurants, shopping strips and other hotels nearby, giving easy access to everyday conveniences. Greensboro city centre and Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park are roughly 14 minutes away by car, and the Greensboro Coliseum is about 8 km from the property. High Point University is around 19 minutes by car, making the hotel practical for campus visits and event travel. Free on-site parking supports car-based touring, and the immediate area is quiet despite swift highway access. No airport shuttle is available, so taxis or rideshare are the standard transport connections from the airport.

Rooms are comfortable and open, with recent renovation, new carpets and furniture, fresh linens, 37-inch TVs, USB ports, generous closet space and a good-sized mini fridge that suits extended stays. Each room has air conditioning, heating, ironing facilities, a hairdryer, safe and a bathroom with tub/shower and massaging shower head. Up to four people can stay in a room; some king rooms can take a third person with a roll-away bed, and family rooms are available. Adjoining-room choices are limited: the only adjoining option for a king with a sleeper sofa is a handicap-accessible king room with one bed. Windows open in most rooms except the centre-front section, and no rooms have balconies. There is no in-room coffee maker; hot drinks are available from the lobby station. Some bathrooms and air-conditioning units are older, and some corridors and rooms can develop a musty smell; opening windows where available helps. Hallway and connecting-door noise can carry, so upper-floor rooms away from the lobby are the quietest choice.

Breakfast is self-serve and includes several hot items, bagels, muffins, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, with a spacious seating area. It is a continental-style spread rather than a full cooked-to-order hot bar. Coffee and tea are available from the lobby station throughout the day, which is useful outside breakfast hours. There is no restaurant on the property, so lunch and dinner options are the vending machines, the on-site minimarket or the chain restaurants within about a 0.5 km walk. The breakfast area provides a practical place for a relaxed start before heading to the Coliseum, the water park or the highway.

The outdoor pool operates seasonally and may have capacity and time limits in place, so it is worth checking the current status at the front desk if swimming is a priority. As an open-air facility, pool conditions can vary with weather and maintenance. The fitness centre is clean and equipped with enough machines for a practical workout. There is no spa, wellness centre or hot tub on site. Nearby leisure options include Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park, 14 minutes away by car, and the shopping and dining areas around the hotel.
