Guests should note significant ongoing construction in the surrounding area, and should be aware of a homeless encampment on the block west of the hotel.

Standard rooms are generously sized, with some described as having extra-large floor plans. All rooms include a private bathroom with a bath or shower, hairdryer, and free toiletries; accessible rooms feature adapted baths or roll-in showers. Beds are consistently noted as comfortable, and the rooms are clean and quiet, particularly on higher floors away from elevators. A seating area with a desk and sofa bed is standard, and the A/C is individually controlled. For those wanting luxury, rooms with balconies are available, though they overlook other buildings and rooms rather than city landmarks. Some rooms are on the smaller side; corner suites or one-bedroom suites are recommended for families or those wanting more space. Rooms are dark even with all lights on; the A/C may blow directly onto furniture in some layouts.

The Bistro serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with American dishes like breakfast sandwiches, burritos, and burgers. Breakfast is available for an additional charge of US$15 per person; it is a continental-style buffet with limited hot options. For lighter fare, the lobby snack bar is open in the evenings with grab-and-go items. Additionally, a Starbucks and a Subway are located in the same building, offering alternative dining choices without leaving the hotel. The bar, open until 10 PM, has a well-stocked selection and an outdoor seating area with fireplaces.
