COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT AUSTIN THE DOMAIN AREA, Austin

The hotel sits about a 5-10-minute drive from the main Domain retail and dining hub, with several restaurants (Buca di Beppo, Taco Cabana, Mimi's Cafe, Lupe Tortilla, and more) within 0.5-2 km on foot. Highway access is easy, making it practical for exploring Austin. Free on-site parking eliminates the need for a car at the hotel itself. Walkable to some eateries, but the densest shopping and dining area of the Domain is about 2 km away - a short drive or a 20-minute walk.

Rooms include double-queen or king-with-sofa-bed layouts. All feature a microwave, mini-fridge, flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have a balcony, but these cannot be reserved in advance. The property has undergone partial renovation: newer rooms feel modern and spacious, while others appear dated and may have musty odours or humidity issues due to older window-style AC units. Renovated rooms generally offer better comfort and cleanliness. Rooms on lower floors have more reliable Wi-Fi. Two-queen rooms include a bathtub.

Breakfast is available for $10 per person, offering a continental and American menu with hot options. The Bistro also serves Starbucks coffee, wine, and champagne (for an extra charge). Dinner is served daily from 17:00 to 22:00. The restaurant is family-friendly. For guests who prefer a wider selection, many restaurants are within a short walk, including Italian, Mexican, and American options.
