The property is also near Fort Caroline National Memorial and Timucuan Ecological Historical Preserve (8 km). Daily essentials are within walking distance: a Walmart, several restaurants, and a gas station are just behind the hotel. The area is considered safe and well-lit, with easy on-ramps to I-95 for exploring downtown Jacksonville or the beaches. For cruise port transfers, a taxi or rideshare costs roughly $22 one way. While the location is car-friendly, free on-site parking with reservation adds convenience.

Rooms are designed with a seating area, work desk, flat-screen TV with cable, tea and coffee maker, microwave, and ironing facilities. Most units have carpeted floors, but recently renovated rooms feature laminate flooring, tall ceilings, and a more spacious layout. 18 rooms have balconies - request one when booking, as availability is limited.
