CROWN BTS NANA HOTEL, Bangkok

The hotel sits in a lively central area a short stroll from Nana Plaza, Terminal 21 Shopping Mall, and a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and street food. The entrance is on Soi 6; taxi drivers should be directed via Soi 4. A convenient walkway to Soi 8 connects to the BTS and additional street food options. The area is well served by public transport, with BTS Nana station less than 5 minutes on foot and MRT Sukhumvit within walking distance. Benjakitti Park is also within reach for a green break. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 22 km away. The location is rated highly for walkability and access to nightlife, but the immediate neighbourhood is more suited to solo travellers and nightlife seekers than families.

Rooms are spacious, generally around 30 m2, and each includes air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a fridge. The private bathrooms feature a bath and complimentary toiletries. Room condition is inconsistent: some units have been recently renovated and are clean and well-maintained, while a significant number of rooms are dated, with worn furniture, old bathroom fixtures, and cleanliness issues including dust, hairs, and - in many cases - cockroaches and other bugs. Beds are often reported as very firm. A safe is available in every room. The hotel has a lift. Rooms with a city view exist on higher floors (7th floor and up); lower floors may face a narrow, dark alley. Sound insulation between rooms is poor, and road-facing rooms can be noisy. Windows can be opened in many rooms for ventilation.

The property does not have a swimming pool, spa, wellness centre, or gym. Leisure options are limited to the shared lounge/TV area and the outdoor garden furniture. For recreation, guests rely on the surrounding neighbourhood, which includes Benjakitti Park (within walking distance) for jogging or relaxation, and the extensive dining and nightlife scene nearby.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Free private parking is available on site but cannot be reserved in advance; it operates on a first-come, first-served basis. The 24-hour front desk can assist with tours, luggage storage, and safety box access (in-room safes are standard). Daily housekeeping is included and free of charge. Other services include a shared lounge/TV area, an outdoor garden furniture space, and a common area with a microwave and coffee. The hotel has a lift, key-card access, CCTV in common areas and outside, fire extinguishers, and 24-hour security. Visitors/joiners are allowed, but their ID/passport will be photographed for safety. A barber/beauty shop is also on site. No airport shuttle is available. Accepted payment methods include Visa, JCB, Maestro, UnionPay, and MasterCard.
