Downtown Chattanooga is about 15 minutes away. Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport is 6 km from the hotel. Attractions like Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum (7 km), Chattanooga Zoo (14 km), Lookout Mountain, and Tennessee Aquarium are easily reachable by car. The area is not particularly walkable due to heavy traffic, but nearby restaurants like Arby's, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Cracker Barrel, Newk's Eatery, and Zaxby's are within 1 km. Freeway noise is audible in some rooms; quieter rooms are available away from the highway.

Rooms range from spacious double rooms (with one or two beds) to suites with a separate living room and bedroom. All units include air conditioning, a coffee machine, refrigerator, work desk, flat-screen TV with cable channels, hairdryer, wardrobe, and heating. Private bathrooms have either a walk-in shower or a bathtub; some rooms offer a sofa bed. The property is non-smoking throughout. Some rooms near the highway experience road noise, and a few have reported air conditioning not cooling adequately. Rooms away from the elevator tend to be quieter. The hotel can feel crowded during events, but the layout generally provides good sound insulation between floors and hallways.

The evening Kickback runs from 5:30 to 7:00 PM and features a rotating dinner buffet - options like baked meatballs with pasta, chicken fajitas, steamed vegetables, salad, and a pasta bar. Each adult (21+) receives three free alcoholic drinks during this period. There is also a Kitchen+Bar on site serving late-night food and drinks (including warm cookies and ice cream). The pool area can become crowded, especially when the hotel is full or during tournaments, and supervision of children in the pool is limited to parents. On occasion, the pool has been closed or not properly heated; if swimming is a priority, it is advisable to check with the front desk before arrival. Towels are available at the pool. The pool and hot tub are generally well-maintained and clean.
